4 Seasons Surf Safari In The World

4 Seasons,Surf,Safari In The World

Most surfers have their favorite places: the beaches they know as the back of their hands. However, surfing in different places offers new challenges and unique opportunities for improvement, meeting like-minded people and having unforgettable experiences. To make the most of what our oceans have to offer, why not make several trips throughout the year throughout the world?

If you are a beginner or experienced expert, these destinations will allow you to catch the waves throughout the year.

Portugal
The Mediterranean coast of Portugal offers a variety of conditions suitable for both beginners and experts. Those looking for a challenge should head to Portugal in the winter months when the swell size reaches the six foot mark: it is known to reach fifteen feet or more. If you do not like cold water, visit during the summer for smaller waves of three to five feet.

Do not miss:
• Supertubes: Subertubos beach is at its peak since November with impressive barrels.
• Nazaré: this fishing village hosts waves of monsters. It is only suitable for expert surfers when swelling is important.

Costa Rica
Costa Rica attracts many people due to its clean and quiet beaches, far from the thousands of tourists who flock to other popular destinations. The Caribbean coast has a short season with waves formed by tropical storms off the coast of Mexico. Keep in mind that these huge waves can be difficult. Puerto Viejo has reliable navigation, but you can also count on local jellyfish to make an appearance so keep your eyes open and take out an annual travel insurance multiple trips before leaving in case of an unfortunate encounter.

Do not miss:
• Pavones: Pavones offers another impressive long trips, about three quarters of a mile, in an idyllic seclusion. The best during the summer months, I advise you to pack a car with your table and a store and spend a few nights here.

Thailand
Avoid the tourist crowds and head to Phuket between April and October. The waves here take a little time to understand, but your patience will be rewarded. Although Kata Beach is the center of Phuket's surf culture, most of the best places in the area are quite quiet. This is the perfect place if you have tried classic surfing destinations and want something a little different. The monsoon brings many warm waves and you will often find yourself alone, just you and your board. The locals are friendly and happy to advise visitors.

Preparing for your Safari Surf
There are never two identical waves, but there are many ways to prepare your trips. First, buy an annual multi-risk travel insurance policy to cover it in the event of an accident or injury. Instead of putting together a different type of coverage for each of your outings, I would recommend choosing an annual travel insurance with multiple trips: it provides a simple policy for the entire year. Second, investigate about the typical conditions of your destiny. Finally, keep your physical state. Surf vacations can be quite intense, so make sure you are in good shape before you leave.
